Bookings

All booking enquiries will be confirmed in writing, preferably by email, and deemed to be provisional pending receipt of the deposit.

Payment

A deposit of 50% of the total cost is payable if the booking is made more than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. The balance is due 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks before the holiday start date, the total cost is payable. In the event of non payment of due balances, a cancellation will be construed.

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Details will be sent with your booking confirmation.

Arrival and Departure

We would appreciate it if you timed your arrival to be no earlier than 4pm and likewise vacate the Yurt and Cabin by 12 noon on the day of departure.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation made up to 12 weeks before the start date, any monies paid will be refunded in full. In the event of a cancellation being made within 12 weeks of the start date we will make every effort to re-let. If we are successful in re-letting we will refund any monies paid in full. If we are unsuccessful we reserve the right to withhold the deposit payment.

If the Yurt and Cabin become unavailable due to fire, flood or any unforeseen circumstance we will refund all monies paid to us without further liability.

Damage and Breakages

We would be grateful if you notify us of any damage or breakages during your stay.

Whilst these are your responsibility we will not normally charge for minor accidents.

We reserve the right to charge for damage caused by irresponsible behaviour and malicious acts.

Care of the Yurt and Cabin

You agree to take all reasonable care of the Yurt, Cabin, contents, furnishings and associated infrastructure. Please do not expose the Yurt or Cabin to any fire risk by keeping the firebowl and barbeque at a safe distance and attended at all times whilst lit.

Smoking

Please refrain from smoking in the Yurt. Smoking is permitted in the Cabin and outdoors.

Pets

We have a very friendly Border Collie called Jess.

If you wish to bring your pet please discuss with us beforehand.

Liability

We are not liable for any actual or alleged indirect or consequential loss howsoever arising or any other economic loss suffered by persons staying on our premises.

Data Protection

We comply with the provisions of the 1998 Data Protection Act for the purposes of processing your personal data with regard to your booking.
